Healdsburg, Ca. – (August 1, 2025)– Enso Village, a Zen-inspired Life Plan Community located in Sonoma County, California, is pleased to announce Katie Hensley as Life Enrichment Director. With over 14 years of experience in senior living enrichment programming, Katie brings a strong commitment to creating innovative, engaging, and memorable experiences for residents.
Katie’s career includes extensive experience in designing and managing programs tailored to meet the diverse physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs of older adults across independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing settings. She has lead initiatives ranging from intergenerational activities and music programs to dementia training sessions, while also collaborating with community organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and the Lighthouse for the Blind.
Her passion for fostering meaningful connections shines through her unique programming approach. From organizing talent shows during Wellness Week to coordinating intergenerational events and creating sensory and reminiscence programs, Katie is dedicated to tailoring enriching experiences that leave an impact on residents and staff alike.

Katie’s certifications include accreditation as a Teepa Snow Dementia Trainer with specialized training in the Positive Approach to Care. She is also certified in Adult and Pediatric CPR with AED and holds a Personal Trainer certification, equipping her to provide well-rounded training for both staff and residents. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, with a minor in English and a Leadership Studies focus, from Humboldt State University.
