Last Thursday, November 21st, marked the Anniversary Harvest Meal, a celebration of one year since the first residents began calling Ensō Village home.
The evening’s gathering brought together current and future residents, board members, and staff to reflect on a year of growth and connection. Together, they rejoiced in gratitude and honored the harvest season with a feast of delicious, seasonal foods thoughtfully served by management.
Ensō Village, a community born from the collaboration between the San Francisco Zen Center and The Kendal Corporation, embodies a unique blend of Zen-inspired mindful living and Quaker values. This one-year celebration not only commemorated the past but also established a cherished tradition that will continue to honor shared values and community spirit for years to come.
